Football management, built for a persistent global competition

MetaClub is a browser-based football management game currently in development. Managers will be able to build and operate football clubs, compete in an evolving league structure and participate in a persistent game world shaped by real managerial decisions.

The game and any cryptocurrency-related functionality are not currently available to the public.

About the company

MetaClub is being developed by MetaClub Interactive Ltd, a UK-registered company. The company is building the technology, competition structure and operating systems required to support the MetaClub game.

MetaClub is currently completing product development, financial planning, compliance preparation and infrastructure testing ahead of launch.

How MetaClub works

• Users may create an account without managing a club.
• Managers will be able to create or acquire a football club through the available club-entry routes.
• Clubs compete within a structured domestic and international football ecosystem.
• Day-to-day gameplay uses non-withdrawable in-game Manager Credits.
• Certain future purchases, marketplace transactions and prize payments are intended to use native USDC on the Base network.
• MetaClub does not issue or operate its own cryptocurrency token.

Digital assets and treasury approach

MetaClub intends to use native USDC on the Base network as a payment and settlement rail for certain future game transactions and prize payments. The company does not intend to issue its own cryptocurrency or custody users’ private keys. Managers will use eligible self-custody wallets where wallet functionality is required. Manager wallet support is intended to remain provider-neutral.

MetaClub Interactive Ltd is establishing its business treasury and compliance arrangements during the pre-launch period so that the proposed systems can be tested before any customer-facing crypto functionality becomes available. No customer-facing crypto functionality is currently live.

• Kraken Business is the preferred company treasury candidate for consolidated GBP-to-USDC conversion and consolidated withdrawals to company-controlled operational wallets, pending approval and end-to-end testing.
• Kraken would not be used by MetaClub to create or operate individual customer exchange accounts.
• MetaClub would not use a Kraken account to hold exchange balances on behalf of individual managers.
• The final treasury workflow remains subject to provider approval, compliance review and end-to-end testing. This page does not claim a partnership, endorsement or approved account with Kraken or any other provider.
